The Story:
A lot happens in life where you think to yourself, ‘oh man, I’m never
going to forget that’, then several years and few hundred beers later
you are struggling to remember just how you came to be. Desperately
Obvious was formed under your pillow, a hidden walkman. Filled with
whatever you could convince your friend’s older brother to tape for
you. You wanted to hear what wasn’t on the bus ride in, or in your
parent’s car. You wanted to hear the music that would make your hair
stand straight up on end and the sounds that would send shivers down
your spine. With everything that happens in life you will never forget
the first time you had that feeling. Desperately Obvious was formed in
a bedroom by a guy and a girl who met at a show. We are in the
business of recreating the feeling of first times.
