Coming up!
Greetings Cyberspacers!
All sorts of wild things have been going on in the B3nson realm! First of all, I am happy to report, that Sgt. Dunbar have made it safely to Austin for SXSW. Louis reports that their first night of busking was extremely successful, and they are feeling very positive about their interview with Bob Boylan (all songs considered, NPR).
It is also an exciting time for Scientific Maps fans, as their 7 song (mega EP?) Food For Witches is nearing it’s completion. April 23rd has been set as the release date, keep checking back for more details!
BEWARE! the Other Head of Science have several area and not-so-area shows coming up in which they will be supporting their latest release Big American Godzilla Party, check them out here: myspace.com/bewaretheotherheadofscience . Also, if you haven’t picked up a copy of their record you can do that here: cdbaby.com/cd/btohos
And last, but not least, there is an amazing show this Friday night at Dovecoat (formerly Amrose and Sable gallery) on Hudson ave. Longtime B3nson favorites Dust From 1000 Years will be stopping Albany and you should be there! If you have never heard Dust, you can listen to them here: myspace.com/dustfrom1000yrs . Performing with them will be Aaron Smith of the Scientific Maps and Michael Campana of Secret Release. More information on this show can be found here. Ps. You should go to this show!
