All sorts of wild things have been going on in the B3nson realm! First of all, I am happy to report, that Sgt. Dunbar have made it safely to Austin for SXSW. Louis reports that their first night of busking was extremely successful, and they are feeling very positive about their interview with Bob Boylan (all songs considered, NPR).
It is also an exciting time for Scientific Maps fans, as their 7 song (mega EP?) Food For Witches is nearing it’s completion. April 23rd has been set as the release …

Meet Jack Rosenberger, with beard.  He doesn’t have a beard anymore (at least not one that bad-a$$) but he’s still kickin’ it in the next town over.
He goes by Barrow Burrow and like many of us around here he spent the month of February most likely cold, hungry, and laboriously writing and recording an entire album for the RPM Challenge.

Tonight at Albany Law School, (1928 Building - 80 New Scotland Ave., Albany), I (Alex Muro) will be representing the old B3nson Recording Company on a panel discussing the future of the music industry especially in regards to copyrights.  Also on this panel will be Paul Rapp, Paul Czech & Matthew Lioacono a group of people who’s opinions I myself am greedily interested in upon this very subject.
