This post is about a show that happened two years ago. It doesn’t seem like it was two years ago to me though, it might have only been a couple months ago as far as I’m concerned. In my time warped brain it might have been only three or four months ago that my good friend Dave found and instantly shared with me the Microphones album “The Glow Part II” which forever changed my music listening.

The show started late, really late because Phil’s car had broken down but he got a rental car and made it there eventually. Things didn’t seem to be going particularly well for him on this tour and probably in an attempt to make up for it he played an all request show that night. It was awesome.  He sold lots of 80$ record books to bard kids.  I recorded the whole thing on my crappy mp3 player but for some reason I feel like it sounds exactly like it supposed to.
