In Yellowstone, it’s the Wolf…

…in my own farm, it’s the Woodchuck

I don’t think I’m giving away any secrets here:

As you may or may not know, us B3nsonites will be rocking and frolicking all day at Larkfest 2009, some crazy person..I mean…legit person… gave us control of one of the three official stages for the entire day.  Saturday, September 19th, the Townsend Park Stage (on Central Ave., between Henry Johnson and Lark St) will be host to Scientific Maps, Sgt Dunbar & the Hobo Banned, BEWARE! the Other Head of Science, We are Jeneric, Barons In the Attic and our good friend and co-conspirating superstar Matthew Loiacono.

We’re in the process of planning some extravagent extravaganzas to keep people entertained throughout the day.  One thing we’ll be doing is putting together the 2nd ever B3nson Recording Company Compliation, featuring an as of yet unknown number of bands with new songs, old songs, B-sides, rarities, and probably some noise. You can be assured that we’re hard at work getting everything together, and to prove it here is a slideshow of three different groups recording at the Hobo House (oxymoron?) over the past couple weeks.
Featuring: We are Jeneric, Barons In the Attic, BEWARE! the Other Head of Science

There will be lots more B3nson happenings happening on and around our stage that day, and probably throughout the entire festival.  A “Throw Whatever You Want at Dan Maddalone” (of Barons in the Attic) booth was proposed at a recent meeting, but probably won’t make the final cut because of insurance purposes…but if you come over and hang out with us that day you can expect to be interested and involved.

And check it… here’s a hit jam of the new We are Jeneric record Animals Are People Too that was released back on August 9th.

I enjoy that the Larkfest Music Schedule as posted here (http://www.albany.com/news/larkfest-bands.cfm) says that “Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo” will be playing. Which hobo? Or is the plural of “hobo” actually “hobo” instead of “hobos” or “hoboes” or “hobi”?

That’s all. Work is boring unless its interesting.
