“Just two weeks ago, we named Scientfic Maps Best Pop Band in our Best of the Capital Region issue, based on the quirky-confident songs of Aaron Smith and the band’s recent “Hold On Whoever You Are”. And now we have further proof, Scientific Maps will release a new EP, titled …

Best Acoustic Duo – We are Jeneric
“What started with a box of Nerds and a shared love of Emerson and Thoreau has turned into a gorgeous musical arrangement (not to mention marriage) for Jen O’Connor and Eric Krans. The two craft lovely, lo-fi tales of tea and turkey vultures in their haunted Altamont parlor when they’re not off rambling …

So, as seems to be the case (more and more frequently) things are very very busy at camp B3nson- with several new releases on the horizon as well as other shenanigans for the not-too-distant future, we’re all very excited! First of all we would like to thank everyone who came out to see the debut performance of the B3nson Family Band last Friday! We had a grand time and we were so glad to see so many people show up and sing along. Videos and pictures of that performance should …
