Happy Monday, we have a busy week here at the B3nson Collective with more shows than you can shake a stick at, possibly our busiest on record. Our collective bands will be putting on 8 performances on 5 different bills. Some of them are currently farther under the radio than they ought to be, fortunately we have have a website!
Tuesday April 27th Sgt Dunbar & the Hobo Banned in Ithaca w/These United States @ The Nine’s 10pm. - Its not exactly a local show but it is the Hobo Banned’s first trip to Ithaca, should be fun.
Wednesday April 28th The Hoborchestra, We Are Jeneric & Barons in the Attic w/ These United States @ Valentines 7pm 5$. This may be your last chance to catch the Barons in the Attic for a while and did I mention These United States are a rare and excellent treat?

Friday May 1st Beware! The Other Head of Science w/!!! (Chk Chk Chk) @ Valentines (upstairs) 8pm 12$ Beware! gets to open for for !!!, we are all really excited about this show. Like Mike Hotter commented on the Valentine’s website, Aerobics time!

Friday May 1st Scientific Maps w/ Mike Gent & the Rapid Shave @ Valentines (Downstairs) 9pm 5$ Downstairs on friday night the Scientific Maps open for Mike Gent of The Figgs fame which is also pretty darned exciting.
Sunday May 3rd Sgt Dunbar & the Hobo Banned & Desperately Obvious w/Dust From 1000 Years @ Valentines 8pm 5$ - This was the fateful lineup the very night that the members of the Hobo Banned and Beware!/Desp Obv met for the first time, its a bit of a reunion if you will. Not to mention Dust from 1000 years is probably one of the best bands you’ve never heard of.
You can thank us later for making Albany a fun place to see live music although, there are lots of other people who also would need to be thanked. Monday is the first day of the work week.

just last week i was thinking to my self i’d really like to see beware again, its been a while. then i’m informed that not only are they going to be playing the night before my b-day but they will be playing with !!!. HOLY SHIT! this is gonna kick ass i can not wait, so super excited. couldn’t ask for a better show!!
