In Keeping with the B3nson tradition of being a productive music maker I decided to try and tackle the OTHER B3nson tradition of partaking in the annual RPM Challenge this February. It was grueling and embarrassing and I gave up and started over more than 3 times. It was a completely different way of working, which also posed quite a challenge. It generally takes me longer than a month to write 1 good song, let alone write 10 songs (good or bad) in 28 days. This record is intended to be listened to in a quiet setting, in an altered state, and preferably with headphones. It is also recommended that tracks 1 through 10 be listened to successively in order. Many thanks to Ryan Stewart who graciously donated samples, and to Peter Mollica, the Scientific Maps, and Sigur Ros, all of whom I have stolen and subverted audio snippets from without their consent. Enjoy.
